SwiftBase -  Vax/Alpha migration using emulators, environment monitoring tool, from little utilities to major applications these are just some of the things we do.

Lightquick has just won the contract for converting Swiftbase's websites to something a little more modern. The Swiftbase site is the main umbrella site for all Swiftbase' product sites and as such needs to be good demonstration of the company's capabilities.The current site is a bit clunky and a product of the late 90's and Bob Fiander, the MD, decided that it was time the sites were brought into the 21st century. Bob's decision to make the change was not guided by the desire to use new website technology but was driven purely by the need to market Swiftbase's products effectively. 

Swiftbase's most recent site was built using Joomla CMS technology and a Virtuemart shopping cart. With this in mind it made sense to update this site and build the remainder using Joomla too.

Swiftbase has a product portfolio covering Vax, Alpha and Itanium hardware emulators allowing the OPEN VMS software architecture to run on Intel based servers. The website swill be the vehicle supon which the company displays its wares to prospective clients.

An image will be here shortly, showing the simple and modern design in keeping with the technological image of Swiftbase International Ltd. It has easy-to-navigate menus with content modules placed in appropriate locations that will allow easy access to the product portfolio. and associated websites.

We will be using pertinent information on Swiftbase's Landing Page to ensure that the content is relevant to any google search terms likely to be used by the potential googling customer. Search engine friendly tools will be in place to ensure that Google spiders and web bots find Swiftbase's website and rank it near the top of Google's first page.

Search engine optimisation will be in place for this site. We will use SEF tools (Search Engine Friendly) to optimise the way information is presented to the customer via google. This site is product-orientated and will require specific marketing for specific product ranges.  Search engine optimisation can work for your site too.
